Step 1
Link casting choices to character IDs
Record the original character, candidate voice, line IDs, scene direction, and difficult terms. A recognizable person or franchise character is not a shortcut to cleared commercial casting.
A written line hides timing and casting conflicts. Spoken prototypes reveal when combat masks a bark, a tutorial continues after its animation, or two original characters are difficult to distinguish.
Use Fish Voice before final dialogue approval: pair each candidate with a character ID, scene context, pronunciation note, and intended trigger. Export labeled takes and judge them inside the build.
Prototype a character lineStep 1
Record the original character, candidate voice, line IDs, scene direction, and difficult terms. A recognizable person or franchise character is not a shortcut to cleared commercial casting.
Step 2
Keep combat barks, tutorials, and interface calls in separate labeled groups. Compare alternate wording for one gameplay event without losing its implementation context.
Step 3
Trigger each take with animation, captions, player input, and the surrounding soundscape. If meaning or duration fails there, repair the script and generate a replacement.

Under the Voice Usage Policy, Terms of Service, and plan limits, original synthetic styles may support personal and commercial work. Imitative community styles have extra restrictions and never replace permission from the relevant person or rights holder.
Maintain the character ID, selected voice slug, glossary, direction, and filename rules together. Compare each new batch with approved control lines before integration.
Retain an unprocessed take for writing and performance decisions. Apply game effects in the audio pipeline, then conduct another in-build check on the processed result.
The render grants no rights and approves neither writing nor casting. Writers, audio staff, and release owners must still evaluate the script, implementation, mix, and permissions.
